Jess’s Picks

 Mary’s Picks

With Halloween just around the corner, I thought I’d share some of my favorite Halloween goodness from Pinterest this week. I want to make all of these and I just might!

  • Um, are these not the most awesome/creepiest little things you’ve ever seen? These would be great tucked into a centerpiece for your Halloween party. From Inspired Art Junkie via Pinterest.

  • Whoa! Are those not super cool? People are so creative. The download is free from Country Living and I’m loving how Dana from Made placed them in her home. These were done last year, but I’m still digging them. Also, go read Dana’s post about them because she’s got some truly great photos of the bats on Congress Ave. bridge here in Austin! I live with Kyle, my husband, in Savannah, Mo. in a house we spent this past late summer and fall remodelling. We are in the process of furnishing the place now which means lots of exciting trips to thrift stores, antique malls, and plans for refinishing.

Hi! I live in a small two bedroom home in Austin, Texas. I believe in vintage, re-purposing, recycling, and making my home comfortable for us and everyone that visits. After grad school, I developed a love for design and giving old furniture a new life. Hope I can take you all along on my journey to rid my house of the "college days" furniture (or at least re-purpose it)! Welcome, and I hope you stay a while!
