Mary’s Christmas Tree

I’ll keep this post short and sweet. I love my Christmas tree. As I mentioned the other day, I didn’t think I would have a Christmas tree this year until my parents gave me their old one. I searched for vintage Christmas ornaments, made a cranberry garland to hang behind the tree, and made the tree skirt from a thrifted cable knit sweater.

I just used a plain ol’ needle and thread and strung up the cranberries. I love the way this turned out and I strongly recommend spraying your garland with shellac if you want it to last longer than a week.

As this week comes to a close, I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas weekend!
