Over the holidays we got to visit Brendan’s family in Southern California. The weather was wonderful and so we ventured to the beach and harbor at Dana Point. All the hues of blue and green were just too beautiful not to photograph.

The sun in Orange County always gives me the best photos. I love it there.

One underrated aspect of Southern California is all the beautiful succulents. Well, I’m not sure if it’s underrated but I tend to only see people talk about the beaches, sun, and these ladies.

I wish I could escape to this place every month or so. The beach is such a nice break from daily life for me.

I was a bit enamored by the turquoise little hats (I’m sure that’s the official name, right?) on top of these posts.

We finished off our jaunt around Dana Point at Harbor House Cafe. This place serves an extensive menu around the clock and it’s open everyday of the year.

I’m missing California already…
